Deciding to travel with OTW instead alone was the best decision as my first time travelling this far from home. I felt cared for and every step was very transparently planned.
Although india can be a very busy country (especially the cities), I felt at ease knowing i‘m with fiona who already has been to the places and knows so much about it.
plus travelling with a group that is so interested and curious about the culture and the people is so fun and led to me learning even more!

Central Asia has been on my list for a while – when I came across OTW’s trip to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (ie the opposite of a touristic pre-packaged tour) I leapt to sign up. And what an incredible trip it was! If you’re good-humoured and open to a niche adventure, I only have good things to say about OTW. Fiona is intentional, organised and all-round lovely. It’s clear that she puts a lot of heart into researching and planning her trips – while we travelled in a small group of 6, there was space to do things independently. Our days felt full but not rushed, which I exactly how I like to travel. In addition to the curated and varied itinerary, Fiona was always ready with suggestions of things to do/see/eat. It was just like travelling in a group of friends (with one really organised person sorting out all the logistics!). I would love to travel with OTW again and have my eye on the Northern India trip. Thanks for such a fun and cool adventure, Fiona!

Had a wonderful time in Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan with Fiona. It was well planned with a nice mix of activities. She put together a great group of people, it was a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some adventure, culture and just to have a good time.

I felt totally at ease throughout the trip that Fiona expertly had everything in hand and showed us places that I wouldn’t have known about if I had gone alone. Dzongu is a region I won’t forget and staying in local home stays really added to the experience. Varanasi was one of the most spiritually energetic places I have been.

Nothing was ever too much for Fiona and she happily adapted plans to suit the group. I liked that she had a pre-call before booking to iron out questions, but also to check that everyone would get along for each trip.

If you are looking for a tour to take you off the beaten track with some likeminded people, I 100% recommend OTW

My trip to Nepal with OTW in October was truly incredible. Everything was so well organized, and I always felt our group was well taken care of. The itinerary perfectly balanced adventure, culture, and leisure. I was genuinely amazed at how much we experienced in just 12 days. We went river rafting, trekking, explored fascinating cultural sites, and even stayed with a local family, which made the whole experience feel so authentic.
Fiona was fantastic and really helped us dive deeper into the culture, making it easy to connect with the local people and understand their way of life.
I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of culture, adventure, and genuine connection.

I had an amazing time exploring Nepal with Fiona. Highlights included waking up by the riverside and hiking for three days through stunning mountains. What made it special was the effort that had been put in to ensure we stayed with kind local families and enjoyed activities with small businesses that went the extra mile. I’d recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience Nepal through local eyes and enjoy its incredible scenery.

We had an amazing time in Nepal. Fiona planned an amazing trip with so many fun experiences that immerse you in the culture of Nepal. Fiona made sure that everyone was listened to and if we wanted to do anything that wasn’t in the itinerary, she would try her best to add it. There was also enough free time on the trip for us to do our own thing snd we had some time to relax. Fiona also gave good suggestions for stuff to do in our own time. It felt like I was just on a trip with some friends it was nice being in a smaller group.
